While living in Sausalito; her close exposure to world famous Laurel Burch during the early 90s influenced her use of color and the importance of fine details. She has studied under prestigious Los Angeles based creatives like: Tom Allen, Lita Albuquerque, Dan Bartolucci, John Divola, Stan Douglas, Jill Geigerich, Bruce Hainley, Howard Heard, Tim Martin, Jon Pestoni, Diana Thater, and Annette Weisser.
Her love and passion for the Chinatown Community is rooted in her childhood memories of attending elementary school in Chinatown. Lion Dancing is one of the earliest memories she treasures, as-well as celebrating Chinese New Year.
